About the Pool:

The Saudi Marine Insurance Pool is a national initiative established following the approval of the Council of Ministers and under the supervision of the Insurance Authority. It aims to provide insurance solutions for marine risks and support the sustainability of marine insurance amid heightened risk levels.

Management
Saudi Re leads and manages the Pool, including its operations and the operational coordination primarily with relevant insurance companies.

Objectives
The Pool aims to enhance the insurance market’s readiness to address marine insurance risks, support the continuity of trade and supply chains, and strengthen the Kingdom’s competitiveness as a global logistics hub.

It also supports the provision of sustainable insurance capacity for the Kingdom’s exports and imports, increased premium retention within Saudi Arabia, and greater resilience and long-term sustainability of the insurance sector.

• Marine hull.
